Does access to condom prevent teen pregnancy?

Teen pregnancy have become a hot topic lately. Almost everyday we can come across an article in the newspaper reporting on teen pregnancy. Teen pregnancy is the cause of open sex between teenagers. So can we make a conclusion that abolishing sex between teenagers can prevent teen pregnancy? The answer is NO...Why? Not one or two, but tens of measures have been taken to abolish teen sex, but all end with despair. Strengthening the teenagers influence in religion since small, law enforcement and organising health campaigns are all the story of the past. This few measures have all turn into failure. We can't stop this bunch of group so called teenagers from having sex. No matter what measure are done, it is impossible to prevent teenagers from having open sex. Mind as well we make sure that their act doesn't turn into a disaster for instance teen pregnancy. This is where condoms come to handy. At the end of the day our prime objective is to prevent teen pregnancy.

We have to stop pretending teens do not have sex, and instead provide access to birth control! Although parents do not like to admit it, teens everywhere, all the time are having sexual relations. Parents try their best to raise their children until they are able to stand on their feet, teach them right and wrong, and the appropriate behaviour and inappropriate behaviour. However teenage sexual relations have little to do with parents, and much more to do with teenage culture and peer pressure. Teenage these days are more exposed to the outside world compared to teenagers 10 years ago. Teenage now are more rebellious and have greater intuition to explore new things that seem exciting, awesome and cool. Sex is, and will always be, one of the these things. Since the desire is strong to explore sex is a given, the best thing we can do is to provide teens with access to birth control, including condoms. With this, teenage pregnancy can not only be control but abolished in a long run.

With easier access to condom, teen pregnancy can be controlled because it makes easier for teen to choose safe sex. Stop giving talks and education on why teenagers should not have sex and the effects of having open sex instead expose them to methods of contraception, like condoms. Teenagers understand that having sex at a younger age is wrong but that did not stop them from still trying it. Unprotected sex has a chance of causing pregnancy. And once a teenager experiences their first bout sex, they are unlikely to stop. So it would be a matter of time before the unprotected sex turn into pregnancy. Even though teenagers are aware of the exist of condoms but why are they not in keen using it. This is simply because going to a pharmacy and purchasing a condom would make them look bad in front of the others.

In a nutshell, sex can't be prevented and as long as unprotected sex still takes place teen pregnancy will still continue to flourish. Everyone are trying hard to prevent teenagers or more commonly known as the future leaders from having sexual intercourse at a very young age, but sadly to inform all the efforts and time spent are just a waste. It is time to put a stop on what we are doing all the while to abolish open sex and time to shift to a new plan. It is time to turn to condoms as the ideal solution for these rising issue. Countries like The United States of America, Canada, United Kingdom and many others have identified this and have shifted to promoting condoms in order to promote a safer sex between teenagers. Therefore, as more time we waste, the more the number of unlawful babies are born to this world and end up in places like public toilets and garbage sited. Finally there is no doubt access to condom does prevent teen pregnancy.
